The other side of the story. The Irish in the Confederacy. I seem to remember there was one battle where an Irish regiment from the Union fought against an Irish regiment from the Confederacy.

Your ancestors and mine got off their butts, got to work, and took care of that problem. And they did it without affirmative action.


Yes sir, they did. So many minorities have been able to accomplish this why can't they all? In my family, both Irish and Cajuns alike were discriminated against. In Northern Louisiana, Cajuns still are to a large extent.
