We have been buying ODSI all week but it has been difficult. Also,
the company refused to return any calls. At the close, the stock
was halted in after hours trading for news of a major restructuring
which will be discussed on a CC Monday morning at 7:30 AM (Central
time). Though 1998 was a poor financial year, a number of alliances
were formed and there were some strategic acquisitions. They
aligned with SAIC in a transaction where SAIC assets were assumed
by ODSI and SAIC would remarket ODSI products. I believe SAIC also
has the right to buy up to 16% of ODSI stock. I believe they may
have been doing some buying in the fourth quarter but I cant find the
link where that info was posted. It may have been on an insider
trading site. Also, ODSI received Federal Government approval to
export their Cryptographic offerings to customers in 42 countries
previously off limits. This is key net-working software for fire
walls, security, etc. I have no judgement at this time what the
response will be to this restructuring but I think it is positive. I
have owned this stock before and it is in my tracking system. We
bought it due to its changing strategic model and the fact it was
at an exhaustion low. For those interested, please read the news
