According to Motorola quarter financial report: Motorola's CopperGold(TM) Transceiver for Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) products was chosen by Italtel SpA for use in a new line of ADSL products. Motorola and Marconi SpA will develop ADSL systems to allow network operators to offer advanced video services over existing copper telephone wires. NetSpeed Inc. announced that it will use the ADSL chip for high-speed Internet access.
