While the BRICS get a lot of publicity, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is huge and flies under the radar. The SCO combined GDP is $26.8 trillion often seen as a security grouping, is emerging as an economic force. Its combined GDP now rivals the G7 and approaches NATO's scale.

Approx. 3.45 billion people about 42% of the world's population. China's trade with SCO members double in 6 years. Reaching a record high 2024 of around US$512.4 billion – a year-on-year increase of 2.7%

China has been mobilizing its Central Asia's partners as the US pressure mounts. The best option for the United States would be to get all Western Hemisphere and Africa as a countervailing power to the SCO. But maybe is already too late.

Global South? Which Global South? It is the East Block! Imagine how much stuff arrives in Russia via the SCO countries !!!!
