Paul; Of course I know that, I was speaking transitively, "why has the SEC not taken direct action?" I think they are at the first stage, but these bodies are creatures of Congress and lobbyists run amok with the representatives and slow justice down a great deal in gray areas like this.The SEC of course will start the ball rolling in that direction, but would be expected to act in an administrative manner until they met resistance, after which court orders and FBI assistance would follow. However if you recall the robber baron era the police were often called in to assist with getting documents and there were arrests for destruction of evidence.
Will this come to pass here?
