<<< 3Com has the luxury of time with regard to x2. They don't own USRX yet, and will have no say in the matter as USR continues deployment. Once the transction closes, they an see how well x2 is doing, as well as the other camp, and then make a decision. That's a good place to be on 56k. >>> Personally, I would rather USR remain independent. USR has their own piece of the marketshare. Either that or USR Take over COMS would have been a better though... rather than vice-versa hehehe..... Who knows, COMS may just rape USR dry of all it's technology and resources. Mebee, they want to steal TI's new dsp chips and all. Then discard USR like a rag doll..... =( Lets just hope that things will work out for the better for USR. I just wanna see the USR Brand on Modems still =)
