Brumar,
Really, you know all the Russians support Putin's insane war?
Funny you should ask that, because the answer is complicated. This lady says that most people don't support the war but are too afraid to say so:

For the most part, however, we don't have the luxury to assume that the RuZZian people have the capacity to rise up against their kleptocrats. It's like asking North Koreans to rise up against Kim Jong-un, and we all know that will never happen.

Not only that, but do you see how well the RuZZian citizens continue to live? So they don't have McDonald's anymore, or Starbucks. BFD. They're not feeling the war like Ukrainians are. They don't know (or care) that 80K RuZZian soldiers got killed or injured. To them, life continues as usual.

They have a LONG way to go before hitting bottom.
I think Tenchu should get over the Bwandon crap. You're supporting Putin by default because you can't be for anything Bwandon does.
Again, you're projecting your hatred of Trump upon me.

I don't mind being proven wrong about Ukraine. Right now, the counterattack in Kherson has already started, which isn't what I expected. Maybe Zelensky decided that he does indeed have enough assistance from NATO in order to make a move.

And maybe PooTin will finally come to his damned senses and start suing for peace, even though Zelensky stated flat out that he wants Crimea too.

The point is that we can't keep hoping for miracles. Kherson will likely be freed by this current counteroffensive, and that will be a huge moral victory for Ukraine.

But what comes after that? Back to the same stalemate?
