Did a fair amount of research today:
A few findings:
Picked up WSJ early this am and it is apparent to us all that a stronger dollar has not translated into lower oil.
PetroChina is breaking out on Chinese currency issues (textiles are not the issue, trust me).
(I won't even mention cheap assets in Africa that are now being freed).
In tech land, ADBE and ADSK are good illustrations of how cheap it has to be (other than goog) in order for someone to run up the stock. It needs to be a real company at a dirt cheap price (both were in mid- single digits at the bottom), and most that fit that description have moved little if any.
By the way, BTU was valued at about $2.3 billion on the IPO and lost half of that in a year before it ran to near $7 billion now.
Canadian Natural Resources is one I'm looking into, still making new highs.
Don't know when this will end, but I thought it would long before now.
