I could not agree more with you JR. I have this feeling that major contracts will be announced soon. I remember reading about the timeframe needed to lock a large outsourcing contract: 12 to 18 months. Well! We're there now! Since July 1998, date on which Bell Sygma was acquired and finalized, business development guys at CGI must be doing their stuff. Any time between now and December we will see not only one but at least 2 to 3 major outsourcing contract. Canadian and US and/or International. The pressure was and is still on the CEO to deliver. And he shall deliver as he always did! Keep your eyes open in the next 4-6 weeks. Things will look a hell of a lot different. They could not get much of the US investors attention before. But after the latest PR, CGI will definitely be on their radar now!!! Each new contracts will move the stock where it should be. Initial coverage with a buy or strong buy from US brokerage firms will push this stock to a new high. Look at EDS. After the SHL acquisition, they're still reorganizing. Things are not looking too good for them. Probably tried to eat more than they can chew. That was a very expensive purchase. But CGI was at that table too and backed-off since it was way too expensive. This alliance with Microsoft along with contracts with a major US Telcos (such as Ameritech/Southern Bell)will remind the strategic importance of this alliance and add weight to it. THEN.... The fuse is lit. Fasten your seat belt! We're going on a ride!
