If I understand your question correctly, you are asking about the price/earnings ratio. In this case, there is no valid p/e because Oilex has negative earnings. That is, the company is losing money annually so you can't have a positive p/e ratio. A price/earnings ratio is applicable only to companies that have earnings rather than losses. Quite frankly, I really don't understand the numbers when applied to a price/earnings ratio either. Maybe they are for some other ratio, such as price/revenue.
