[Soros]

Kenneth --

I don't believe this is Soros. He has no reason to sell at these levels. Judging by the selling he has done so far, he still has stock.

I have my own theory on what's happening and it's pretty ugly. Three or four months ago an Amati follower was so mad at the stock/company he said he was tempted to get all his friends and clients to short it and then start dumping. When they got it down low enough, they'd cover and start buying. Is this happening now? I don't know. He and his clients hold close to .5M shares, so it's possible. I know he's mad enough to do it. From other sources I've been told this is not illegal nor is it unusual. When a stock becomes weak and they know they can influence shareholder's insecurity, they move in.

I've spoken with several brokers whose clients hold large amounts of Amati and one in particular says he's alerted several to the buying opportunity at these levels. With the Sumitomo announcement, the NEC partnership, and the beginning deployment to HKT, the door to Japan is wide open.

This sort of selling is insane and I believe it's being manipulated, and not necessarily by MMs, who, incidentally, I think have more than Amati to watch.

Just my take.
