I see what you mean. Compared to suicide bombing thinking, it does not seem as crazy as that.

But if you listen to the interview he says he got his training from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and other rishis and I know for a fact that Hinduism has a bit of frivolity and playfulness to it, therefore it is possible that he was just pulling his leg. They did not call me the "Bamboo Baba" for nothing.

Ram Dass' teacher pulled his leg too. He fell for it at first.
