Let's see - statistically 100% of your AMD systems have problems - and 100% of your Intel systems run rock solid.


On the other hand, I use 4 AMD systems and 3 Intel systems. All 4 AMD systems are rock solid, but 2 of the 3 Intel systems are very unstable (the stable Intel system runs on a venerable BX-based motherboard, the other two run on i815).

Just goes to show you can't judge much from such a small sample ;-)

EDIT: I should note that these systems all run Windows. The Linux-based servers I use regularly (2 AMD based, 3 Intel based (of which 1 is a dual)) are all completely solid.
