Bill - The military instrument stuff is still visual sim. SAR (Synthetic Aperature RADAR), NAV FLIR (Forward Looking InfraRed), and targeting FLIR must all be modelled visually. Its no less demanding a task compared with the "out the window" daylight visual scene and then add a bunch of displays for cockpit instrumentation and its a pretty wicked app. >Why are you doing real time visual flight sim? I'm curious because I see the >future of instrument flying as the introduction of what I've heard has been called >"synthetic vision." Regards Jeff
