I certainly agree with you about understanding the technology. I don't think the financing plan is "disasterous" any more than that of any other junior. Any junior will eventually approach capital markets for funds, and few have a facility already in place for this very purpose. Many have to shop around with the deal to the brokerage houses.Regardless, I happen to know and understand that the share structure and share ownership of a company is as important a consideration to investors as the product and the marketing. Consider Microsoft's average product has dominated the market. If average products can achieve such market acceptance, then obviously we need focus our attention to these other issues which determine success. The product and the marketing appear to be strong points of JAWS from what I can ascertain. The "CURRENT" 8.7 Million some odd shares outstanding is fairly tight and also bodes well for JAWS' early stage of development. The market cap. is slightly over $ 4 Million which is certainly attractive. The concern of dilution is only a concern if you CAN NOT SEE IT COMING and hence can not make intelligent decisions accordingly. I would appreciate any news on this aspect of the company. The tight float (supply) is what is causing the stock price to go up under the greater buying in the open market (demand). Demand is squeezing supply. We can all monitor or perhaps even anticipate demand to some degree, by reading the press releases, promo, and general market conditions. The wild card here is the supply. Unless someone can show me a concrete way of monitoring the dilution (supply) , then indeed this investment must be treated as very short term and speculative.( A long term view would be too dangerous, not knowing what kind of dilution is happening and when.) One can only walk around blind for so long before one gets hurt. Herein lies the difference between business people who INVEST in calculated speculation, and gamblers who PLAY penny stocks. Good luck at "rolling the dice" as you yourself have put it.
I wish you well, and I sincerely believe that JAWS is undervalued at current multiples in this current bull market. I simply wish I had more information at my disposal, and I respect people like Walter and yourself, who spend the time to provide that information.
