Yet you conclude that Kerry is more culpable than Bush. There is no ratonal basis for such a conclusion.

I said Kerry and Clinton. Let's look at that.

Every US Military Officer Training School teaches that a unit commander is responsible for everything his unit does and everything it fails to do from the moment he assumes command to the moment he relinquishes command. That applies equally to Lieutenants commanding platoons and Generals commanding armies. It also applies to the Commander-in-Chief.

I repeat this is taught at every level of officer training from OCS, ROTC and the academies to the War College.

All Officers including the President take an oath to protect and defend the United States against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.

Being responsible for your unit's action does not now and never has implied responsibility for enemy actions except when no defense or an inappropriate defense posture has been ordered by the commander.

I do not hold GWB culpable for the terrorist actions on 9/11 nor do I hold Clinton responsible for the first terrorist attack on the WTC in 1993.

I do hold Clinton responsible for the subsequent attacks on his watch, and I will hold GWB responsible for further attacks if they occur.

As Commander-in-Chief, each was responsible for the actions and inactions of our armed forces. They were also charged (in their oath of office) with "protecting and defending The United States from all enemies both foreign and domestic".

I hold Clinton and Kerry responsible both for what they did and what they failed to do.

They failed to protect and defend the United States.
They both presided over the dismantling of 35-39% of the US Army, USAF, USNAV and the Coast Guard. They both presided over the dismantling of over 1/3 of our intelligence capability.

These actions and inactions were their response to accelerating attacks against the US.

Kerry took the same oath as a Naval Officer and again as a US Senator. He has been protecting and defending the United States for 34 years by dismantling the military at every opportunity. It began when he fled from his first battlefield. It continues today.

You know what GWB has done to fulfill his oath of office.
