Last time I talked with a clerk in Bombay which admittedly was a few years ago when I owned the stock, I was told that she was paid minimum wage with no commission. And that's exactly how she performed. She was a clerk and did no selling. I hope BBA has changed this, but I suspect they haven't based on company performance. They need to take a page from Nordstrom's playbook and give their people in the stores some solid training and incentive to sell. Anyone who comes into their store is ripe to be sold something else related to their purchase or at least be give some suggestions that they may act on in the future. Just an opinion.
