Trump way over estimated his popularity after being thrown out of office in 2020 and his followers have been abandoning him for the last 2 years.

They liked his racist and fascist policies but his narcissistic personality and constant lying and throwing his own people under the bus to save his ass has turned off all but the most extreme nutballs.

I stay on top of RW social networks to see what they are talking about and Trump is not their pick for president in 2024 and they are looking at DeSantis or not looking at all.

Without Rush to promote him and Bannon and Jones out of the picture and Murdoch turning Fox against Trump he has no chance of becoming the star of the RW base again. Trump burned his bridges with the RW media and got them in legal trouble and is persona non grata.
