We were not ok with this from the start - we did a lot of crying and yes we did ask ourselves those questions over and over.

Not any more. We did the best parenting that we could and I think it was just meant to be this way.

It still bothers me that there will not be any grand children and I think my wife feels the same way. This is a bridge we are going to have to cross soon as our friends' kids are getting married and I am sure they will be starting families soon. It will be difficult to look at their grand children and realise that we will probably never have any of our own.
