frank "It's so stable that things rarely hang, and if something does hang I don't have to reboot. I now save time by using Stand By many times, instead of shutting down" explain 'stand by' to me when you have a minute. and how do you use it instead of shutting down? did you install ms service pack 1? i installed the floppy encryption, too. did you choose NTFS? are you now dual booting? are you using drive image to save images of your os? guess that's enough for now. <g3> have a nice weekend :) mark
