Anybody have a sense of what the emerging Thorium powered reactor technology might do to the uranium markets?

Apparently India is coming online with them soon.

The Thorium backers have developed a pretty convincing argument for their material.

Though this quote was significant:

"This sub-critical nuclear reactor is the only logical way of burning the plutonium, producing energy, and getting rid of one of the most dangerous substances on the Earth."

abc.net.au

The only company that I have run across that is actively touting Thorium exploration is Novastar (NVAS:BB)

Interestingly they were down .005 today to .24, on over 4 million shares traded.

Somebody is aware of them....
