I do have some 1GHz PIII around, and that's what I am probably going to use. The PS is one issue. The coolers another. A case which moves enough air is another - maybe the ones I have would do it, and maybe not. Just enough resistance to make me want to wait a bit. If all of that stuff is obvious going in, how much more non-obvious stuff will turn up? I think I'll wait until some more adventurous souls have blazed a path.
