You know, everybody on this thread seems to be thinking short-term....then some folks try to get you to think long-term....How about everyone give their idea about what holding a stock long term is. Or how about everyone put up an example of a stock they have held "long term" I'll give you mine. I bought a stock on 9-21-92 in a private placement offering....didn't even get on any market until 5-97..The stock had many hurdles to overcome even to make it to any market.. I paid 50 cents a share for the stock when I bought it. It traded the first day on the market in '97 for $3.00 and yesterday it closed at $4.03!! Well lets see, 5 1/2 years ...800% increase, thats only about 145% per year.... Any takers???? Lee
