Ever is a very long time... The earth has already gone through changes far beyond what we have done to it or even what we could do to it if we were trying to mess it up. I don't mean that we don't do harm, merely that the comments about some "pure and untouched" area being destroyed forever are wrong about the "pure and untouched" wrong about the "forever", and usually wrong about the"destroyed".

Tim, you aren't changing the subject, are you?

The issue was has things gone too much in favor of the environmentalists; to whit, look at all the improvements in the environment. My answer is no as evidenced by all the disasters still waiting to be fixed and by the fact that improvements in and of themselves do not make things good ie. the air still sucks in LA at least a third of the year.
