Great news! Fed Ex chips in to help and the Chief is getting some T.V. exposure on MSNBC tomorrow. Story of America, dedicated voluntarism mixed with corporate generosity... I just wrote FED EX a thank you letter. FedEx offers Operation Give FREE SHIPPING! chiefwiggles.blog-city.com We have just been informed that Federal Express will be shipping some items for us, for free, directly to Baghdad and into Chief Wiggles waiting arms. I don't know what to say, these people are incredible. We looked into what it would cost us to ship via air to the Chief and the cost was prohibitive. We will work with FedEx to accomodate them and to insure that we do not overwhelm them in anyway. We anticipate the bulk of the toys to still be shipped via container. We want to thank the neighbors of our warehouse for taking delivery of the first boxes to arrive. It seems that the postman wasn't quite sure where to take them. :-) We now have this fixed and, with the amount of boxes we expect to arrive, we hope the postman becomes our good friend.
