Adam,

I'm not sute 56k will win over ISDN. Take a look:

56k - Pros: works over regular phone line, cost is 1/3 of ISDN
Cons - because of pure phone line quality on average you will get
about 30-35k (remember that even with 28k modems you are getting about
22k)

ISDN - Pros: guaranteed up to 128k speed
Cons - dedicated phone line, high cost (may go down in near future)
