The resolution with various state AG's will not affect any pending or future class action suits. While the settlement may have some PR value to AOL, the private suits go forward. Steve Berman, the Seattle attorney I mentioned in my previous post has already commented that he intends to pursue the case he filed recently. Take a look at the following from Reuters, by way of Yahoo:

I'm thinking about buying some AOL puts, possibly April, to allow the stock to drift down. Any thoughts?
