While I do have and admire the Inspiron line Compaqs new 1800 series will give Dell customers a run for their money. compaq.com I saw the 1825 at CompUSA and fell in love! (compared to my existing Inspiron 7000 15") I just configured an 1800 with all the same features as the Inspiron, and like the deal a whole lot better. It's always good for people to take their heads out of the ground and look around at what the rest of the world is doing. Good Luck!
