We'll see...rate hike or not, bond market will be much more friendly after August 24th..Fed will be in recess (no more hikes) until after Jan. 1....30 year will trend down (partly due to foreignors parking funds due to Y2K)....my guess is the data will be continue to come out mixed, and slightly benign over the next few months..making that decision (no Fed hikes) easier (and the right one).. Throw in, also, the problem with credit spreads... Nice thing about these threads...we can always pick up the same convo later...I'm sure we will...
