How can you tell that the Creative Labs Blaster CD-RW 8432 32x8x4x,at $129, for example is not an external device?

Ps. I saw the media for this type of device advertised for 65 CENTS per unit! that's a pretty cheap way to get 650MB of rewriteable storage imho
