Thanks. However I take the most pleasure in seeing another Connecticut team winning the national championship: the Lady Huskies of UConn. Their only loss this year was to Tennessee by a single point, a game in which UConn blew a 14 point halftime lead but should have won in the final seconds. Oh well. But, hey, sometimes those types of losses make you even more focused and determined to win it all. In the rubber game against Tennessee (they had beaten Tennessee the first time they played this year) -- the national championship game -- they came out on a mission to seek and destroy, and that they did (up by 25 before pulling the regulars). UConn's entire starting team were underclassmen who should all be returning next year. In addition, the #1 rated high school player in the country has agreed to come to UConn next year. Not bad for a state that many think is a suburb of NYC (g).
