There has been shorting going on in this stock all the way from $4 up to $5 and down to $1.50. There is no way of knowing who holds the most shorts...and their average price. In watching the buys/sells/volume/and average prices over the last 6 months or so....I have always felt...and it's been confirmed by others that the total short position in RTIN could be in the seven figure range. The real kicker is their average short price....of course every MM who is short probably has a different price, but I've always felt the average short is around $3 - $3.50....as there was a lot of shorting in the $4-5 range...and a considerable amount all the way down to $1.50.... Shorters who are buying now are covering at a profit if their average short price is $3....but it's a race to see who can cover before they get over their average.....when we get above their average...hopefully we can have enough momentum to force them to cover at a loss....that's where the squeeze comes in. Looks like our timing here is just about right....with 4 days until the closing, 6 days till the shareholders meeting and probably some major announcements...it looks like we've got several days of upward movement to look forward to. I don't think our major buying will hit until the actual closing announcement and franchises are announced. And I am expecting some shakes along the way...but the shake today was pretty weak. I really expect to see RTIN trade over a million shares for 2 or 3 days at some point very soon. Lee I know which MM's have been supporting and accumulating RTIN stock for quite some time (friend MM's) And they are no where near selling any shares yet.
