E-Trade is a JOKE. It executed my limit sell entered at 28.69 at 28.25, because its computer read the order as 38.

I called immediately and asked them to break the trade. I explained their order entry problem. They refused, but agreed to start an inquiry. I got the inquiry number.

I copied the screen shot, showing that their program is rounding down the 28.69 order to 28. Called back and told them that I had the screenshot and it there mistake. They still would not bust the trade.

I reported the problem by the service chat, and copied the text of the chat into my word processor. Still wouldn't break the trade.

Then after hours I called in. Guess what. The inquiry was never even entered.

I transferred a low six figure/50 trade a month account from E-Trade to Merrill last year. E-Trade can say goodbye to the rest of the account.
