Actually, in WOW's mind (such as it is), once you make the moving averages the same, the formulas are all the same.

((C - Ref(C,-5))/Ref(C,-5) > .05) AND (V > Mov(V,63,S)) AND
(C > 0.85 * HHV(C,250))

is the same as:

(c-(ref(c,-5)))>(.05*(ref(c,-5))) and
v>mov(v,63,s) and
c>(.85*hhv(c,250))

and the same as:

c-(ref(c,-5))>(.05*(ref(c,-5))) and
v>mov(v,63,s) and
c>(.85*hhv(c,250))

The lack of parentheses around c-(ref(c-5) doesn't make any difference to WOW in the formula.

And (20-10)>.05X10

is essentially the same as (20-10)/10 > .05

Or: 10 is greater than .5 works out to say the same thing as 1>.05

You knew that about the divisor, I know, but I wanted to say it in case anyone else wonders about the difference between the two formulas. And it is wise to be careful with parentheses in WOW, so thanks for pointing it out so I could double-check it.

Just to make sure, I plotted the two formulas (one with the parentheses, one without) and both have the same result. Then I plotted yours, just to double-check my unreliable mind, and they're all the same. So there are three formulas to choose from, and one will leave you with two extra parentheses (what would you do with those, you might wonder?).
