Ted Re..Most news quotes claim bin Laden's fortune to be around $250 million.<<<<<<

$250 million is a far cry from being broke.

According to one article the Sudanese roads were estimated to cost $50; however, with cost runs they came in at around $300 million. The Sudanese refused to pay the difference....you do the math. <<<<<

What math. The estimates for $250 million or $300 mil. are estimates of his current wealth, after his Sudanese misadventure.

You don't defend your position, you assert it.....and there's no middle ground, no compromise. <<<<<<<

What on earth makes you think I would compromise on a guy who has had a hand in killing an estimated 10,000 people worldwide already, and is threatening to start WWIII; where the 10,000 could escalate to Hitler sized proportions. There is no defending his position and no compromising. Enough is enough.

Your idea of a conversational exchange is lobbing missiles back and forth. Sound familiar? Try thinking in terms of the Israelis and the Palestinians.<<<<<

We already are thinking like the Israelis and Palestinians, as they are lobbing missiles back and forth every day. Read the news.

I have friends and family who may be called up to fight.<<<<<<

Don't we all.

Your rants have become increasingly distracting and non productive.<<<<<

Please provide links to any rants I may have had which may be even remotely as bitter as your rants about GW having the US air force defend themselves by firing back at Saddam's missile sites back in Feb.

If you want to blindly follow our leaders, that's your perogative but that's not my style.<<<<<<<<<

IN this case, I intend to fully back GW, just as every dem. and REp. on the hill has. Over 90% of the American public backs GW.

A link would be nice.

search.yahoo.com

The above pulls up a lot of smaller links. I went thru a lot of them to get a sense of who bin Laden was. Can't be more specific than that.<<<<<<<<<<

I went through a lot of your links, and most of them said Bin Laden was very wealthy. Here is your BBC link http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/world/south_asia/newsid_155000/155236.stm and they say this Bin Laden, an immensely wealthy and private man, has been granted a safe haven by Afghanistan's ruling Taleban movement.

I didn't see any CNN links. And I couldn't find any story about him losing all of his personal fortune.

The real message I was trying to get across is why make a big deal of the misspelling. A simple comment would have sufficed.<<<<<<<<<

This is what I said.

<<<<And in the case of the soony faction<<<<<<

I assume you mean Sunni faction. <<<

That is all I said, and you accuse me of ranting and raving about your spelling????? Talk about sensitive. Well EXXXXXXcuse me.
