Hi, Michael. A single hole cannot provide any estimate of proven reserves. A hole gives you depth distribution at a given point in the surface. What you need then is a number of holes to give you a picture of the mineralization characteristic in a volume. The minimum distance needed between holes depends on the homogeneity of that volume. for gold deposits, homogeneity is generally low, hence more holes needed for a given area. Since I am no geologist however, I cannot give you numbers.
