"Joe, the uninsured people in Texas certainly have the freedom to die. And you are bragging about that." First of all, everyone in Texas will die at some point in time. Emergency rooms must treat anyone who comes in under federal law. The people in Texas and the other 49 states have the right to refuse medical services. Not always a wise decision, but freedom allows people to do dumb things. Christian Science followers often refuse medical treatment which is still part of their religious freedom I am bragging about freedom and the personal responsibility that comes with it.
