As the dark side lines up to whack us good......a happy thought.

What you posted was a clear indication that windows 2000 office is, in fact, biometric ready. This is news for many. And of course we know that Microsoft is one of the founders of BioAPI......IDT is also a founder.

I posted a news release showing Compaq as being the exclusive partner for supporting Windows 2000 shows across the nation....where Compaq office lines are loaded with Widows 2000 from the factory.

As most folks know....Compaq is going through a rough time.....and perhaps could use a jump start.

OK......the happy thought:

Could the time be ripe for Compaq/Microsoft to attempt to use biometric features as a selling point for the new office product line?

Could IDX biometrics be a stratagy used by Compaq to jump start sales.......teaming with Microsoft to be "first in"?
