Company Press Release

Objective Communication Announces First Multi-Switch Customer
Installation

PORTSMOUTH, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--September 22, 1998--Objective
Communications(R), Inc. (NASDAQ: OCOM - news), announced today first
customer acceptance of its VidPhone(R) System version 1.4 in a
multi-switch configuration. The system links two switches in two separate
office buildings to create one large virtual switch. The installation is
made possible by one of version 1.4's most sophisticated new features,
inter-switch trunks. The customer, Saudi Oger, is one of the Middle
East's largest construction companies. They were one of Objective
Communications' first customers for VidPhone systems, with the ultimate
goal of linking two of their office buildings together with an effective,
face-to-face communications network. With 1.4 that goal has now become a
reality. An early customer of the VidPhone System, Saudi Oger evaluated
many technologies in an effort to meet their communications needs.

''We spent a lot of time carefully evaluating traditional
videoconferencing systems and were continually frustrated with image
quality,'' said Ghassan Sabayon, E.D.P. department manager of Saudi Oger.
''The VidPhone System was the only system that we felt our employees
would actually use, not just because we could cost-effectively deploy it
to their desktops, but because the image and audio quality actually makes
you feel like you're in a live meeting. Plus, VidPhone does a lot more
than just videoconferencing.''

Saudi Oger's VidPhone System includes two VidPhone Switches ''trunked''
together with multiple broadband connections over one pair of fiber.
Connections between buildings are made with the speed and quality of a
local connection, while end users see one seamless, unified directory
between buildings. VidPhone software is running on the desks of senior
executives, who are now able to hold impromptu face-to-face meetings
without trekking across campus. Saudi Oger purchased the system through
one of Objective Communications' international resellers, ComTech.

''For companies looking to increase face-to-face communications without
incurring high costs or unnecessary travel time--whether that travel time
is between buildings or across countries--the VidPhone System is the
ideal solution,'' said Alfred Karam, General Manager of ComTech. ''It's
easy to learn, quick to deploy--and the image quality can't be beat.''

Objective Communications is the first company to deliver a total,
real-time video communications solution that includes videoconferencing,
video distribution and video on demand all in one integrated system.
Based on the innovative VidModem(tm) technology, the VidPhone System uses
standard twisted pair telephone wiring to bring TV-quality video to
desktops, meeting rooms, lobbies, operating rooms--anywhere there is a
phone jack. More than just a high-quality videoconferencing solution, the
VidPhone System combines live broadcasts, point-to-point and multipoint
videoconferencing, and wide area ISDN and ATM connectivity to provide
organizations with a total video communications solution. For more
