OC - Pollution, Traffic, Overbuilt. Whats to like about this trap. The builders are plastering every hillside with stucco boxes on zero lot line lots. Ugly is not even the word. The beaches now have so much urban runoff, to swim you risk typhoid and whom knows what else. Laguna Beach, Huntington Beach - you name it, leaking and old sewer systems and pumping of sewage sludge less than 1 mile to sea that is drifting back onto the beaches. The smog is now to levels that even close to the sea you cannot breath. Everyday now there are brown clouds of seeable smog in Saddleback Valley and along the I-5 Corridor into Dana Point. The traffic on roads that are 6 to 10 lanes wide, and that is not even counting the freeways produce noise pollution that is unreal. A Sunday drive, PCH is so full of cars even Laguna Beach is not enjoyable anymore. And to add insult to injury the building in places just outside its borders in San Diego, Riverside and SB is causing all of the above to grow worse yearly. We could go on, but why bother. So. Calif. was a paradise, they ruined, greed and bad planning. ------ How soon folks forget that only 6 or 7 years ago their were so many homes on the market in Bank Repo that the banks could not give them away - and this in the middle of a booming economy. And if an earthquake hits, forget what that will do to this real estate market. Suckers game, smart So. California are cashing out and fleeing the state or country. So many other So. Calif. in the world with non of the above. Kiss So. Calif. goodbye, it has seen its best days and only downhill from here!
