Kennedy, I second your statement of: "No ‘buyer’s remorse’ for voting for Obama."
Obama, did just what I expected he would do. He's getting out of two wars, helped with Congress pass ACA, gave the authorization for the Seals to take out Bin Laden, called for maintaining tax cuts for those households with less than $250,000 adjusted gross income, and at this point has beaten the TEA Party Republicans at their own game. Doesn't Bush's tax cut evaporate on January 1 without an extension?
With these results I can understand why some Republicans hate to see their own loses to Obama. After all, with John McCain, a hero, they lost their election to a community organizer and lawyer from Chicago.:)
The sad aspect, the Obama administration could have done so much more good if the Republicans would not have be so obstructionistic. Just hope, minimally, the Democratic's hold at least a solid 41 votes in the Senate to kill any bill the the radical TEA Party members try to push through the Senate just like the Republicans have done the past 3/12 years.
If Dem's hold the Senate and President, OBama can make further gains. Just think, Obama can create jobs by building out an digital infrastructure (electrical grid, repairing highways and bridges, rapid transit systems, etc.), and pull more of our troops from Europe lowering the military cost. Additionally, more cops can be provided on the street, more money appropriated for education (college, trade school) for students needing high skill sets, reducing the poverty level while elevating the middle class in the US, and protect Social Security, medicare and medicaid.
