Syquest can't rally with iomega because they are losing tons of money trying to compete with iomega. Iomega is killing Syquest; if I racall, Syquest had to lay off 60% of it's work force and cancel research on some projects because of it's massive losses.

You can't drop an EZ disk, you have to use the clunky lever to extract the disks (don't break it), the EX 135 disks are made from rejected hard disk platters (bad on one side) this means limited supply, and Syquest loses money on the drives; they hope to make it up with the disks.

IMHO they are headed for chapter 11.
