I agree that Software may be a better buy. The problem is that
the startup costs for the HOME software business is relatively low.
There will be great opportunities in startups and in some
older stalwarts, but for the life of me, I can't pick a bunch of
winners out of the basket, like I can the hardware folks. See, in
hardware, you can buy 80% of the marketplace in just a coupld
of stocks. Take hard drives for example, where the top three
manufacturers control 70% of the market. I can buy each of
those stocks, guaranteed of at least one big winner.

I think that you can count on there being a lot of winners out there.
the trick is not to catch a loser.
