all are good questions. as far as competition, i am sure all the AT&T's and mci's and GTE's and so forth are not going to sit on their hands. but as i said earlier, the main key is simply going to be governmental access on a country by country basis.

2. i dont think technological breakthroughs are what they are focusing on right now, so my uneducated guess would be no.

3. that is the billion dollar question, they certainly have the potential to be big, but noone is exempt from buyouts as the banking industry would indicate and so forth (mci and wolrdcom), but i do think a partnership is inevitable.
