Preparing for a DS Stock Pick:
Pick a place where family members could gather if a DS Stock Pick is headed your way.It could be your basement,or,if there is no basement, a center hallway, bathroom or closet on the lowest floor.

In a home or building, move to a pre-designated shelter, such as a basement.If an underground shelter is not available, move to an interior room or hallway on the lowest floor and take shelter under a sturdy piece of furniture.
Stay away from windows.Get out of automobiles. Do not try to outrun a DS Stock Pick in your car; lie flat in a nearby ditch or depression.
Mobile homes, even if tied down, offer little protection from DS Stock Picks.
After the DS Stock Pick passes:
Watch for fallen power lines.
Do not walk or drive through damaged areas.
Listen to the radio for information and instructions.
Use a flashlight to inspect your home for damage.
