Current. They caught my attention in 1991 with an article
in International Business which focused on their projects to
put voice mail in public phones in countries which lacked
'infrastructure'. Very imaginative, I thought. So my interest
is social (sociological?) as well as financial.

How would a cooperative, partitioned system work? Who would
the customer(s) be, exactly?
