Mark,

Good questions! First with regard to Sony. I only used them as an example of caliber of company they have been negotiating with. Rather than an agreement that is pending. I am sure that LSI's relationship with Sony does open additional doors for them. However advanced LSI and a myriad of other chipmakers might be, they do nothave the proprietary technology that MSU Corporation posesses at this time.

As I understand the MSU Slipstream chipsets, the advantages are that because of their modular nature they can help a manufacturer bring a customized Netbox to market much faster than traditional chips and customized circuit board combinations that would be required to build a similar product. In addition to the time savings in up front design their is also a time savings in the actual manufacturing process. The net result is that not only can the customer of these chipsets bring customized Netboxes to market more quickly than the firms they compete against they are able to build them at an overall lower price. this will give the end product manufacturer that uses the proprietary MSU chipsets either a Netbox that sells for less or a Netbox that generates more profits than their competitor (or perhaps both). You can begin to see the attraction to this product.

At the last COMDEX show MSU deceided to go at the last minute and although the did have a booth offered to them they deceided not to spend the $40,000 base rent (unfurnished) for the booth; after all they are a small cap. Because they waited until the last minute they were unable to get a hotel room anywhere near the show and instead they set up a display in their suite on the other side of town. Even with no prescence at the show and a room on the other side of town they were able to fill the room with big wigs from some pretty high flying players, IBM and ATT to name just a few. The market is aware of their technology and they are ready to play.

Although I will qualify this next statement as rumor at this point It did not come from any official company source, however it came from a source I beleive to be reliable, that MSU has another US Manufacturer signed and they are just waiting for the proper timing to maximize shareholder value. Although I do not trade on rumors, it is an interesting side note to add to the overall mix.

I am continuing to gather information, let me know if you run across any other tidbits.
