Yes, the "Market" being the NASDAQ, is comprised of many types of stocks, from reasonably priced regional banks or manufacturer's of cyclical or defense products to overly loved tech stocks. I think the overall economy is improving and restructuring around a Bush led pro military industrial and throw-back economy. While protectionist policies may propel certain sectors higher, including paper products, oil service and the areas mentioned previously, the still high flying tech sectors, such as semiconductors, still have a way to go before they are likely to hit bottom. The overall capitalization in the tech love fest stocks is enough to bring down the overall NASDAQ to 1500 or lower. I think 1350 is a very good possibility for a capitulation bottom. Even at that level, the cap weighted NASDAQ will hold many high value stocks.
