I agree w/ your assessment of the likelihood of a takeover (in the foreseeable future). If all the investment bankers who were no doubt flogging that idea weren't able to convince anyone to take a run at them by late last summer -- which they weren't, obviously -- I don't see it happening now.

I do think that SYBS is a good prospect for longer-term gains. I got some at 29, but I'd consider buying now if I didn't already have it. I think it'll see 50+ again; I just don't know when! I do not think that the company will go away -- System 11 should get them back on a stronger footing v. ORCL & INFX.
