TLC,

Agreed. The Stones gave the best live concert (and I saw them all). The best I remember was at SMU in Dallas around 1970. The warmup was by Chuck Berry, dancing and playing his heart out. Then Mick pranced on in a red bodysuit with huge gold Leo symbol on his chest and sporting a cape. The entire audience stood up en masse - and, get this, no one ever sat down throughout the entire concert. Everyone was high as a kite with joy, or whatever!

Also saw the Velvet Underground play in the park on the first "Earth Day" ever. They could make you feel like you were in a blacklight cave in broad daylight! Great!

Also, a few favs I failed to mention in my previous post: Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Santana, Jimi.
